The Program
AZTCE is an impact investment program supporting economic growth in Arizona through motion picture productions approved by the recently passed Arizona House Bill 2156. The program offers real win-win outcomes for multiple parties, including local businesses, creative communities, and investors, in Arizona.
The Benefits
AZTCE offers an attractive return that is low risk and uncorrelated to market conditions. The return is a blend of cash premiums and state tax credits that shareholders can utilize on their tax returns as a direct reduction on the amount of taxes owed (unlike deductions which lower taxable income).
The Process
AZTCE funds are safely held in an accredited cash-deposit account for a preset period of time, and are only utilized if an appropriate motion picture production can be packaged. If packaging is unsuccessful, AZTCE funds are returned to investors at no loss. If packaging is successful, funds are utilized and investors receive their cash and tax credits benefits upon completion of production.
